Easily one of the largest English lavenders. Considered one of the best angustifolia lavender plant varieties for oil distillation and is grown extensively in France today. Lavender Maillette is particularly high in linalyl acetate giving it a fine and rather sweet aroma. If a perfumer wants to work with a natural lavender scent,  Lavender Maillette is the oil of choice.
